Pinity Extension Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Pinity browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, and Safari) collect, use, and protect data when you use the extension and related services at pinity.uk.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data (email, name, profile image) after sign in.
  • Extension session data (access token, refresh token, user id).
  • Pin data you create (title, URL, optional favicon, tags, summary).
  • Team/workspace data when you use collaboration features.
  • Subscription and billing status metadata.

2. How data is used

  • Authenticate your account and keep your session active.
  • Store, sync, and show your saved pins across supported browsers.
  • Enable team features such as invites and shared pin management.
  • Support subscription flows and entitlement checks.
  • Improve reliability, security, and performance of the service.

3. Data storage and security

Extension session information is stored locally in extension storage. Server-side data is processed and stored by Pinity infrastructure and service providers required to operate the product. Reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied to protect data.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with processors only as needed to deliver the service (for example authentication, hosting, storage, and payments), or when required by law.

5. Your controls

  • You can remove saved pins and team content from the app.
  • You can log out and clear local extension data.
  • You can request account-related support by contacting us.
